There is no denying that pregnancy is really quite amazing. Being able to create a new life is incredible and can be thrilling and fulfilling. Pregnancy can also be confusing and, at times overwhelming and, it can also come with a fair share of challenges. Pregnancy is a time when reliable information and advice is a high priority.

Reliable information from conception to birth and the journey in between can be found in the ‘My Pregnancy’ book, free book from the HSE. It is bursting with advice to help through each stage of pregnancy and the first few weeks after birth. A must read treasure based on the most up-to-date information available within the health service, and on the experience and knowledge of child health and support services, voluntary organisations and parent groups.

Thinking about your baby and imagining things about them such as what they will look like or what their personality will be, can help you to see your baby as an individual.
