Shannon Parenting Peer Support Group

Shannon Family Resource Centre facilitates a Monthly Parenting Peer Support Group so that parents in the community can come together, share information, build supportive relationships and learn skills to support them in their role as parents.

The group which is always open to new members meets at Shannon Family Resource Centre and the workshops, discussions and information shared are decided upon by the parents themselves. As the old saying goes “you get out of it what you put in”.
